Cancellation Policy – Yachting With Us

At YachtingWithUs, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy ensures transparency while protecting both our clients and yacht owners. Please review the terms carefully before booking a luxury yacht charter.

1. Cancellation by the Charterer (Client)

If you need to cancel your yacht charter reservation, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure – Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Between 30-60 days before departure – 50% of the total charter fee is non-refundable.
  • Less than 30 days before departure – 100% of the total charter fee is non-refundable.

If we are able to rebook the yacht for the same dates, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.

2. Cancellation Due to Weather Conditions

  • Day Charters: If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, you may choose to reschedule the yacht charter for a later date (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
  • Multi-Day Charters: If weather conditions prevent departure, an alternative itinerary will be offered. Refunds are not provided unless the entire charter is canceled by the yacht operator.

3. Cancellation by YachtingWithUs

In rare cases where YachtingWithUs must cancel your booking due to technical issues, yacht unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances, we will:
Offer a full refund OR Provide an alternative luxury yacht of similar or higher standards at no extra cost

4. COVID-19 & Force Majeure Policy

If a charter is canceled due to government travel restrictions, lockdowns, or force majeure events (e.g., war, natural disasters, pandemics), we offer:

  • A rescheduling option within 12 months of the original booking
  • A credit note for a future charter

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

5. No-Show & Early Termination

  • No-Show: If the charterer fails to arrive at the departure point without prior notice, the full charter fee is forfeited.
  • Early Termination: If the charter is ended early at the client’s request, no refunds will be issued.

6. Travel & Cancellation Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers yacht charters, cancellations, and unforeseen events.
